Buyer Be Aware: There is not a single method of reproduction
which can be wholly accurate to a painting. Photographs, slides and digital images
simply cannot capture the true colors, brushwork, textures, size and personal impact
of a piece. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you make an
appointment to visit Wayne Peterson and view his work firsthand.

Shipping, Handling & Insurance: The buyer will pay the
actual costs of packing, packing materials and shipment, plus any extra insurance
coverage necessary. For the largest paintings, which have to be shipped via common
carrier, this cost should remain under $300. Smaller pieces which can be shipped via
UPS will be substantially less.

Should you prefer, you may arrange to pick up the painting at Mr.
Peterson's studio/gallery. (Which, of course, allows you to meet the artist!)
Transporting the painting yourself negates any shipping, handling and insurance
charges.
Payment: We can accept a cashier's check made payable to Wayne Peterson.
Sales Tax: West Virginia residents, please add 6% Sales Tax.
Bill of Sale: Upon receipt of payment, the buyer will be sent the artwork and a
Bill of Sale (under separate cover). Please note that Mr. Peterson reserves the
copyrights to the painting: No reproductions of his work may be produced without his
express written consent.
Returns: If you have a problem with a purchase, you must notify
Beth Peterson within 10 days of receiving the painting. If a painting's shipping
carton appears in the least damaged, contact Ms. Peterson immediately at (304) 270-1059. DO NOT OPEN THE
CARTON UNTIL YOU HAVE SPOKEN DIRECTLY WITH MS. PETERSON. Failure to do so may release
us from all legal obligations. [This stipulation ensures that proper measures are
taken in regards to the insurance.]
If, upon contact with Ms. Peterson, it is agreed that the painting is to be returned,
the buyer must ship it back in its original carton and packing materials, and
it must be packed exactly as first shipped. All return shipping and insurance fees will
be the responsibility of the buyer.
Upon the receipt of the returned painting in its original condition, the buyer's purchase
price will be refunded to them.
Privacy: Any information given when contacting Ms. Peterson will be held in strictest
confidence; we will not disclose your e-mail address, home address or phone number to
anyone without your express permission.
Paintings by Wayne Peterson does not use cookies.
However, we do use an outside ad company to display ads on our site.
These ads
may contain cookies. Cookies received with banner ads are collected by our ad
company, and we do not have access to this information.
This web site also logs IP
addresses for systems administration purposes. IP addresses are logged to track
a user's session. This gives us an idea of which parts of our site users are
visiting. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This
means that a users session will be tracked, but the user will be anonymous.
